Mahbub ul Haq Research Awards for Non Traditional Security Issues in South Asia sponsored by the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies, Colombo, Sri Lanka, were awarded to 6 outstanding young South Asians. This is the 2nd in the series of research grants being made under this scheme since year 2000. The award is meant for collaborative research between two different South Asian nationals on non-traditional security issues that has relevance to contemporary South Asia.
