RCSS has emerged as a premier South Asian networking institution, interacting with leading think tanks, resource persons, and young scholars in South Asia and outside the region. Keeping its South Asian identity, the Centre encourages research, dialogue and deliberation on contemporary international affairs on a broad spectrum of conventional and non-conventional sources of conflict with an educational and problem-solving perspective. The Centre's key objectives are advancing the cause of cooperation, security, conflict resolution, confidence building, peace and development in the countries of the South Asian region. RCSS is sought after for providing information and analyses, research and networking opportunities among young scholars through its workshops, conferences, seminars, and publications.
